Eric: We need to get a ruby to imprison a god.

Suddenly, some huge fog came by.

Eric: "What the!?!
"This isn't ordinary fog!"

When the moment came by, the ruby containing the decoy star snake disappeared.

Eric: "Someone took the star eater star snake's ruby!"

Sparkle quickly reached into her sock, and pulls out a gas mask. Then she puts it on, the gas mask covering only her nose and mouth. She then takes a syringe out of her armband. She injects herself with the serum in it, before putting it back in her armband.

Sparkle: "... The fog could've been poisonous, better safe than sorry... and apparently, the thief was clumsy. There's a visible trail. But then again, it could be a trap as well..."

Offtopic: Um, have you met Shane before?

CC: Well the footprints may be a trap, but even if it is a trap at least we'll find the thief.
So following the footprints is our best bet. He walks a couple steps forward.

A sloth clad in black falls from the ceiling and stabs him in the neck with a syringe. He goes limp.
The sloth runs down the tunnel
Sparkle: A Ninja Sloth!

Sparkle quickly slips out two daggers from her socks.

Sparkle: "Take this, you ninja sloth!"

The daggers catch fire as Sparkle throws it at the ninja sloth, who dodges it. However, the ninja sloth gets caught in a net made out of silk!

Sparkle: "Heh. That net is made entirely of silk. Hard, solid, pure silk. The more you struggle to get out, the more tighter you'll be trapped until you're squeezed to death. Also, the daggers? They were just an illusion, made entirely of data, because I control the Draconian element of Data. And now... Ring of Fire!"

A ring of fire surrounds the ninja sloth.

Sparkle: "That ring may not seem hot, but it burns a lot. I used it to kill zombies once. Unlike the daggers, this ring of fire is real. Luckily my Datawrist has a built-in medkit, so I can undo what you did to him."

[offtopic]I've expected you to misunderstand what I meant when I said the DRACONIA multiverse.
DRACONIA is a code name for a group of multiverses PK has discovered.
They all just about have the following in common: A Earth, a Draconia, a Shane, a Kim, Draconian gods, etc.
PK has discovered at least 9 different variations of them (including the world of Shane's Cave Story, and not counting the one with the Kim wanting to murder Shane, and the one where Sparkle came from), which he had all visited eventually[/offtopic]

Eric: "Since when does data grant you powers to summon plentiful of things like that?
"Oh, right, this is a digital world."

Sparkle: "Actually, it's my Datawrist that allows me to do that. I lost my left hand in a car accident when I was six, so this was sort-of enforced... My brother lost his left hand in the same accident..."

Sparkle sighed.

Sparkle: "I actually hate fake skin, but what else can I do...?"

Actually this is an unrelated universe where the only thing in common is Karjams Domain.
It was supposed to be a new universe where none of the old things existed (except Karjams Domain, that way Karjams character could be a Karjamian)

Sparkle: "So, what now? Do we return to ship? Or do we wait for him to Captain Connors to wake up?"

[offtopic]It IS unrelated to the other univerce, as the Karjamians have discovered that there can be more than one multiverses which are similar to each other.

Meaning, Sparkle came from a DIFFERENT Draconian multiverse than the other The Battle here, so in effect, it IS unrelated to that other game (other than cameos from PK and Nega-Lime, that is, but their backstory is that they can travel the multiverse, just like Jenny Everywhere can appear in any worlds, even unrelated ones, and as such, they're technically are in their own canon different than the DRACONIA's).[/offtopic]

Eric: "He's unconcious from a wound, Sparkle.
"I think we should get first aid."

Sparkle: "I can do that."

Sparkle took out a first aid kit from her Datawrist.

Sparkle: "After all, my parents were both doctors before they died in that accident I mentioned earlier. They taught me everything I know about medical-related stuff."

Eric: "I wonder what that datawatch is anyway?
"He opened PK's notebook."

PK's Notebook: "Unless Author Taylor "Kim" Smith's going to voice me, I can't give you the info.
"After all, Author KarjamP doesn't know what she had in mind when she gave Sparkle that datawrist."

A wall broke.

Eric: "Is that a fourth wall?
"No, I must be seeing things."

Sparkle: "Who's Author Kim and Author KarjamP?"

Eric: "I, uh, don't know."

He closed the notebook and then flips it open again.

PK's Notebook: "Are you sure you want me to carry on breaking the Fourth Wall?"

Eric: "Hmm, I knew we're all fictitious characters, but I never expect there to be an actual Fourth Wall in our adventures."

Recap for Kim: PK's Notebook's a physical representation of PK's mind. PK is a researcher of literally everything, so he'll know just about any detail that you give them. Because of this, he tends to give out these notebooks either as gifts or to help others with their problems. It's operated by first thinking of a subject, and then opening it. None of the locations that debuted in the Main Battle are allowed here, however.

For your information, everyone ELSE got confused with what I meant.

I meant that there's verious alternate multiverses of DRACONIA.

For example, the one of Shane's Cave Story Forums is DIFFERENT than the one in this forums.

After Sparkle uses her knowledge of first aid, Captain Conners is well enough to move again, albeit slowly.

Sparkle: "Whatever that Sloth Ninja had in its syringe, it was poisoned as well. While I already administered the antidote now, it'll act in a minute or so, however, you will also feel dizzy, which means we'll have to help you to the ship."

Eric: "There must be a reason why that sloth stole the ruby."

PK's Notebook: "Uh, I'd still like Author Taylor to voice me about the datawrist."

Eric: "Great.
"PK's making it seem like it's sapient again.
"Which it technically is, since it's a physical representation of his mind, but it kinda freaks me out."

CC: He could want it for it's shinyness.
He probably stole it because it's a large valuable gemstone.
Anyways we probably can't follow him. It's really dark, he's a ninja. The only reason he left footprints before was to spring that trap. we could blow up the tunnels and kill the ninja and bury the ruby

Sparkle blushes.

Sparkle: "Uhh, didn't I capture it surrounded with a ring of fire?"

Cc: Guess Im confused from being poisoned

Eric looked on the Sloth.

Eric: "He doesn't appear to have the gem on him."

Sparkle: "But what about inside him? Or her? It could've eaten the ruby, y'know."

Sparkle takes out a scalpel from her Datawrist.

Sparkle: "Maybe we should kill it and see if it has eaten the ruby. Autopsy or something like that."

Eric: "What about X-rays?
"Wait, I have something in my storage hammerspace that I can use."

He took out what look like a spectacle and put it on one of his eye.

Eric: "My X-spec reveals he never swallowed that ruby.
"He swallowed other stuff, though."

CC: well duh, you have to swallow stuff to survive.
He probably buried it. Or he encased it in lead and swallowed it

Eric: "I meant stuff of values."

Sparkle: "Who knows?"

Eric: "Well, we'd better ask him where he kept the gem."

Cc: Polly here, can translate sloth
Polly: Yea! Im needed again!

Sloth: "I can speak english, you know.
"Jeeze, it's not like I can be wearing cloths and be a cunning thief without being as intelligent as a man."

Eric: "You mean sapient?"

Sloth: "Yes, thank you!"

Eric: "You do know there's sapient creatures without the ability to talk?"

Sloth: "Doesn't stop me from doing it."

Sparkle: "Where is that gem? Tell me or you die. Painfully. I hate thieves more than I hate gas masks. And if you even think of asking me why I'm wearing one I'm going to kick you so hard that you'll be in a lot of pain."

Sloth: "I gave it to some dark lord before you captured me.
"Hah!"

CC: actually I was under the assumption you spoke sloth.
Gasp! Not the dark lord! He's really dark. And we have bigger things to worry about right now. Like the fate of the universe

Sparkle: "Miñakugan!"
The pupils in Sparkle's eyes disappear, making her green eyes a blank green colour.
Sparkle: "He's lying."
Sloth: "No, I am not! I gave it to some Dark Lord! I told you!"
Sparkle: "The Miñakugan kekkei genkai - or bloodline technique - is a specialty of mine. Not even my brother has it! I can tell when people are lying just by using this technique, and find secret passages and such."

Eric: "My lie detector is also going off."

Sloth: "Please! I beg you!"

Eric: "Then again, it's also equipped with sensors that can tell if there's magical or psionic influences, and it's going off like crazy.
"So I think someone's trying to frame the sloth by using magic to make it seem that the sloth's lying."

NOTE: The Karjamian portable lie detectors are equipped with those sensors, as it's well known before by the Karjamians that wizards or psychics may try to trick the lie detectors into thinking they're telling the truth. They soon found out, though, that it's also effective into telling when someone's trying to frame another by making it seem like they're lying.

Sloth: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Anything but that!"
Sparkle: "Anything?"
Sloth: "Anything! I'll do anything! Toaster's honour!"

But before Sparkle could answer, what appeared to be magic missiles plummeted towards the sloth, killing it.

Eric: "Must be that dark lord or something."

Sparkle: "Let's get that guy. Now. I'm going to KILL him for what he did!"

Sparkle unleashes her fury on a stone pillar and destroys it!

Eric: "My lie detector's still giving out those magic readings.
"Wait, it's going down, now."

He looked around.

Eric: "Uh, I don't see any dark lords here."

Sparkle: "Then who's that?"

A girl hiding behind another stone pillar began running, her blonde hair reaching the floor.

Sparkle: "After that girl in the gas mask with the magic wand thing!"

Sparkle starts running after her.

Eric: "There's no guarantee she IS a dark lord.
"That is, she could be his mook."

CC: but the fact that she's running means we should catch her

Suddenly, more magic missiles appeared from nowhere and killed the girl.

Eric: "Now what?"

CC: we don't worry about them and go save the world instead.

CC loots the girls body of any precious gems. He finds several crystals. And a metal staff pointed at one end with a gem on the other

Eric: "We can't just go break this staff for the gem.
"It could be magical!"

Sparkle takes the staff and bashes it against the ground. Sure enough, a magical-looking ruby fell out of it. Sparkle takes it and ties it to her belt.

Sparkle: "Is this it? If anyone tries to steal it via magic, I'll be teleported to it, by the way, that's a slight side-effect of my other kekkei genkai - the Soryuñaken. I won't be going into details right now, though."

Eric examined the ruby.

Eric: "Nope, that's not the one containing the star snake planet eater."

Sparkle holds it in her hand and a fire ball is launched from it! It destroys one of the stone pillars.

Sparkle: "Whoa. Ruby of Fire, much? Awesome. This I have got to keep! ... Can I?"
