My dad, a policeman, doesn't advice me to do it for him, although I may do it if needed.

If it's related to future chapters, Shane said he'd work the characters in somehow.

I was once in the situations of petrol stations going on strike. Then my Dad had to walk to work, thankfully we lived only few minutes away.

However, I suspect that it's not really Shane who sent me that, but someone who hacked his e-mail account.
He's afraid of hospitals and hospital-related personnel, and if he was depressed, I doubt he'd say "best wishes". Even if he did, he never called people on nicknames, and he said he never would, yet he referred to me as "princess".
And he'd never misspell his own surname/last name without noticing.

So unless I'm proven wrong, I believe that the e-mail is from an account hacker and only to make us think that Shane's considering suicide.

Yeah - I am ALSO suspicious of that.

Shane's not depressed enough to try to commit suicide, AFAIK.

I think his satellite signals are being intercepted by a hacker, which is why his accounts get getting hacked.

Either that, or the systems used to store the passwords aren't secure.

Shane never said Best Wishes on any post from him, nor on any of his forums. And I always go check my work, especially for spelling. And if this Shane, it might as well be a FAKE Shane. Because no one in any of the forums Shane has an account on has that kind of writing style.

Yeah, he commonly falls off a ladder, landing on his neck (at least on something soft like a bed), although he'd have mentioned that, wouldn't he?

Maybe his father decided to spend entire days playing Age of Empires III, Shane told me that's something that happens almost every day when his dad's home. Who knows?

Marsgreekgod's also an active mod, although not as active as Wonkyth, but since he's willing to publish his email address to the public, it's easier to get to him and thus talk to him about the forums.

KarjamP, if you want to, you can take charge of the Johto region - with a new character or an old character. I'd have done it but Johto games randomly freeze when playing HeartGold or SoulSilver via emulator, so...

I'll take Hoenn. Probably the region where Shane will end up. I'll also take Sinnoh, where Kim ends up.

All the regional arcs take place in the same time, and after the Champion battle, the group all goes to Unova. An ex-antagonist gets kidnapped in the last chapter of SCS6, and sent to the Pokémon World. The Unova arc will be SCS8.

Also, the main player characters from those regions will exist as Trainers too (i.e. Kanto has Leaf and Red, Johto has Ethan and Lyra, Hoenn has Brendan and May, Sinnoh has Dawn and Lucas, and Unova has Hilbert and Hilda).
Nate and Rosa are also there, just two years younger.

I have Heartgold, the actual game in cartridge form, so maybe I'd do that.

Maybe after I'm done writing my chapter (I had started writing it a few days ago).
