according to the new stats I said, the 5th Elementals specialize in Magic, more than physical strength.

Best: INT, MAT, MDF, MP
Average: HP, DEX, STL, AGI
Weakest: STR, DEF, ATK, SMP

Only if there are multiple dialogue options.

... If we're gonna use that, then Persuasion and Intimidation will have to be skills: Persuasion for thief-like classes and Intimidation for warrior-like classes. Mage-like classes have Magic

What's the difference between the book of wisdom and the book of knowledge?

Does the book of wisdom give advice?

Knowing Shane, there are different Tomes.

Wisdom, Knowledge... who knows? Intellect, Mind, Heart...

The Tomes of Knowledge and Wisdom are basically two of who knows how many magical books. Think of them as MacGyvers MacGuffin.

The Tome of Wisdom contains the pasts of everybody who was chosen by destiny (in this case, everyone who are protagonists).
The Tome of Knowledge contains most of the information of those who travel (it has the stats of the heroes, and so on).

Shouldn't that make it the Tome of Memories instead?

Tome of Wisdom implies it's a book of advice rather than a book telling others of the past of the destined ones.

I wanted the Tomes' names to be related to Wisdom-like things.

Example, words that relate to Wisdom, Knowledge, Intellect.
One could say those are the Tomes of Light.
Meanwhile, the opposite would be the Tomes of Darkness.

That's how I think of it, though.

Out of curiosity, I ask this.
Mvskoke and Julio: your characters do not have last names / surnames. Is this intentional?

Shane's probably waiting for other people from the same timeline to post, because he told me at some point that she was the same age as the character named Richard (at the moment, 18), and that her birthday was on 5 October.

That "battle" starts at a point where Ria is 7 years old - meaning that it begins sometime between 6 October 2001 and 4 October 2012.

Shane even added a message in a spoiler, mentioning Ria's past... sort of.

Basically, I think Shane wants KarjamP to make Ria's biography and character sheet, once her past story has been finished...

For now, though, her biography page will just be pretty short:



"Ria's past is mostly unknown, but all that's known is that she used to be a General.

The Purple Karjam is attempting to find out as much as possible."

I think you'd need to stat him in the Tome of Knowledge.

Only if it is as a special character, like Shane and Kim.

In which case you'd need to quote that post (you're a moderator, after all), copy it to Notepad, remove one of the two spoilers, change all the information there as you wish it to be, then send it to me in a PM.

A child with from the village of Caesarville who has a affinity for ice.

A brave young lass, she managed to use his ice-based powers to defend his family from bandits while they were coming home from the theater.

Thinking he should use his powers to protect the village, his family drafted him into the local army, where his talent managed to get her promoted to general.

Eventually, she was noticed by a strange looking guy in purple, where she was given the Book of Wisdom and told to go out on adventures to do good, so she decided to hire a sorcerer, who in turn,
hired a apprentice, and set out on a adventure.

After a while, she became very strong and skilled in combat.

By that point, they had eventually found a group of warriors who seem ready for combat.

Mistaking them for bad guys, they attacked...

Correction time (as I forgot to mention that it's mostly based on the Ria's Battle thread):
- She doesn't naturally control ice - she learns to fully control magic while in Ilalomora's care (during the ±11 years that she spent with her). Most of the time her magic was entirely hidden, until she got very angry (after her mother was murdered by Arianzan soldiers), which was when she attempted to throw a fireball at Ilalomora. She doesn't even know that her magical blood comes from her father.
- Her only remaining family is her mother's cousin Ilalomora, who is a sorceress of the royal guard of the kingdom of Laruna, and her younger sister, Riley.
- Her skill with weaponry comes from watching television.

It's okay. YOU were the one who came up with the character already so...

Anyway, let's revise the story to make it more like your version:


A child from the village of Caesarville who has a affinity for magic.

Niece of Ilalomora, a sorceress of the royal gaurd from Laruna, she learned how to fight with weapons by watching TV.

About the time when her mother was killed, she attempted to attack Ilalomora by trying to throw a magical fireball at her.

Impressed at her skill, she had her sign up for the military, where her talent had made her a general.

A couple of months later when they recieved a visit from a mysterious guy in purple, claiming that Ria is one of the chosen ones to achieve great things in their future

To proved it, he showed her a book, the legendary Book of Wisdom.

According to legend, the book would form entries of everyone destined to do something great within presence.

Reluctantly, she allowed PK to give the book to her and give her bodygourds in a form of a sorcerer and his apprentice and sent her on her journey to do good

When they got to the village of Arianza, they saw a couple of warriors about to leave.

Mistaking them for enemies, they attacked...

BTW, I've noticed that you have "Karjamian" as a possible race in this game.

I guess I should expand info about their bodies so that you can update it to include info for what I had in mind about them:

Like many other beings, Karjamians can bleed.

What's unique about that, however, is that said blood's actually healthy for non-vampires to drink.

So healthy, in fact, that they even heal injuries and give energy!

They're tasty to. Tasty enough to be very addictive.
