[Idea] LF2 Team Mod

Well, I've tried doing Shane:

Ended up pretty chubby.
Looks more like a little kid.

Just looks a bit chubby,that's the only problem I can see.

What i thought will be the one of the hardest exams i ever had was infact the opposite. And my French test was left for Thursday. So, yeah. I am/was online.

From what I understand, that staff was extremely hard to sprite the long way, as it hid the face. Here's the Chatbox conservation conversation of yesterday , so that you guys can see for yourself if I understand correctly.

Uhm, excuse me but i'm sure Lauli won't do this. BTW i am doing the spriting but any one of you can DC. You can't just not do anything. I am planning on giving one sprite to Shane and he should make a whole sheet of him. Also Dr. Time and kush you can sprite too. You guys need to do something, don't expect someone to make something for you. Not being rude or anything.

@44:is that my supposed to be my representative character because he looks far from what nbaheen looks like(in my mind that is)
any way i may be able to help in DC and also the two character per person seems unnecessary to me,i could run the game with 30 to 40 character and possible ~70-80 objects(including projectiles with little trouble,just a little lag and a big boost in the size of the game)(I think it was around 1GB)

The possible list of moves for my character, Shane:

D>A: Fire an ice ball

DvA: Similar to Deep's DvA attack, except it can also be chained with D>J ; pressing J after the DvA attack results in a leap attack

D>J: Similar to Deep's D>J attack, except it ends with a DvA attack

D^A: Throw sword upwards where it falls into the wielder's hands, before the wielder dashes forwards quickly, cutting all enemies in the way with the sword

DvJ: Attacking the ground, icicles appear (similar to Freeze's D>J move)

D^J: Hit the enemy upwards before leaping up and unleashing a combo attack consisting of five hits, then grab the enemy mid-air and slam him downwards using the sword - this freezes the enemy until he/she/it hits the ground

DJA: Fires an energy blast similar to Dennis' D>A move. "A" continues firing energy blasts

D or J while frozen: Absorb the ice, healing some of the frozen's HP; costs 0 MP

About the characters's Super Attack: cuts opponent upwards into the air; pressing J after that attack will result in the swordwielder jumping into the air and cutting his opponent similar to a leap attack



Gosh, I really should get better at spriting, though. I'm a disgrace to spriting 79x79 characters
Making 16x16 sprites, that's easy. 32x32, a little hard but I manage.

Let's just say when I was trying to make the character's D>A attack frames, the character looked as though his arm was bitten off and put rather clumsily on the other arm

seems simple(except for D^J which is a little fancy)although the spriter here may face problems but what do you mean by super attack do you mean the D^J

All characters have "super attacks" (I don't know what the exact word is for them).

As in, when the player keeps on pressing the Attack button, it eventually ends a combo. For example:

Deep attacks twice, and when the player presses Attack again, he does his "super attack" (an overhead attack that knocks the opponent down). Julian's "super attack" is knocking his enemy down with his fist at the end of his combo.

Does that make things clearer?

yes,it is called super punch.
Anyway i am about half done with the character but there is a problem with D^A the whole through make you're sword at the sky and make is fall back is quite hard and buggy so if you don't mind i will make attack directly or making show some sprite before the attack

Ok, nbaheen. I've made a new one.

Took some ideas from some sprites and made this. The hair is a little bit messed up(i gotta practise hair more) but it got out ok. Hope it's ok.

@Shane: I still think your character needs blueish clothes cause he fights with ice. Here are just some examples of some art i want to make your character like:



- as a pet in moves or something like that

Background music, huh? I'd probably use those from other video games but that's insane.
As for the executable file's colour, how about we wait until we at least have a mod name?

Also, I was thinking... of doing the ".exe" file's icon.

I just noticed this and, since I also know LF2, Maybe I could contribute to this as well. Kush said that he will only do Kushagra for this, leaving out Louis. He said that Soumya could take that place, and since we are both really bad at spriting, or DCing, we decided to help each other.
