Funny that (1) I forgot about this thread and (2) nobody made one.

Anyway, Generation VI is Pokémon X and Y, by the looks of things.

Wonder what the new Pokémon will be?

Oh well, time will tell, right? Best to be patient.

I hacked my own Pokemon Emerald Rom for Pokemon Stickmen! Stickmen inside Pokeballs! I choose you! StickGrass! And my legendary is a Pidgey that can't evolve and learn every type's moves!

Anyway, of the new Starters, I would choose Chespin, the Grass-type Starter.

Most people choose Fennekin and few choose Froakie.

I usually go for grass starters, as they're the first in the Pokedeck.

Yay, more news regarding Gen VI.

Apparently the two revealed Legendaries are named. Xerneas and Yveltal are the version mascots of Pokémon X and Y. And their Japanese names are still unknown

Apparently there's gonna be more than 700 Pokémon in total once all the Pokémon are known.

Yes, I'm excited. Even if I can't play it, I can still play it in my mind

You need to learn ARM assembly in order to do that, Kush, and it's not easy even if you know already.

EEVEE just broke the world record for evolving into most kinds of evolutions. Sylveon is the eight. Wonder what type he is?

Eevee actually has the most evolutions since Gen I.

Gen I: 3
Gen II: 5 (2 new)
Gen III: 5
Gen IV: 7 (2 new)
Gen V: 7
GEN VI: 8 (1 new so far)

In every Generation, no Pokémon has beaten Eevee in terms of evolution - Tyrogue came close in Gen II and III, though, in that it can evolve into the three Hitmons. But Eevee has 8, and so far, I don't see a Pokémon beating that.

As for what type Sylveon is, some people speculate it to be Bug or Normal type, or even Light-type.

Some speculate Sylveon to be flying type or even steel type (which, coming to think of it, clashes with its design).

How can something that cute be Steel-type? Eeeee!

Possibly.

They'd need a pokemon for the 3rd version/VI Gen sequel (like with Emerald, Platinum and Black2/White2).

Remember, B2W2 was unexpected, so who knows? They could skip out on the sequel/3^rd version and unexpectedly begin on Gen VII.

... Anything's possible with Game Freak.

Some people (as far as I know, at the Cave Story forums and TV Tropes) suspect that there'd be things like a W and Z version (either the axis or the chromosomes), or even X² and Y² versions.

In my opinion, it would be weird if they have a sequel to the Gen VI sequel, or maybe a 4^th version.

W and Z version seems more likely, as X and Y were named upon the chromozones (which is evident in the Japanese logos due to the presence of the Double Helix in them).

So, apparently, Mewthree (official name unknown) will appear in Gen VI. If it even has a connection with Mewtwo and Mew in the first place.

About time they reveal a new Pokémon.

I have had it with Nintendo, Game freak, and Pkmn. I just hate the things they come up with now. OK, Zekrom, Reshiram, and Kyurem were ok till BW1. BW2 made them combine, so now Kyurem has butt drills/thrusters, random pipes all over his body, huge wings....... WTH NINTENDO. And then the Kami Trio, Genesect, Swords of Justice. Not Meloetta and Victini though. And now this Mewthree makes the most ridiculous step in history of PKMN.

Well, ridiculousness is a trait of Game Freak, I mean look at the Vanillish line. Seriously, ice cream Pokémon?

Vanilish is cute, but Mewthree? I feel like unleashing the Water Vortex on him. Her. It.

Okay, so Mewtwo merely gets a new form... five generations after Mewtwo was released. I guess it's because of the 16^th Pokémon movie ("Extreme Speed Genesect: Mewtwo's Awakening") though. Maybe it's his "Awakened Forme". But still, seriously?

Phione and Manaphie are the only breedable Legendaries. But doesn't Chespin, Froakie, or Fenekin count?

They're Starter Pokémon, not Legendaries. And the Starters are already known, so they don't count towards me forgiving Game Freak...

If all they're going to do until the release of X and Y is revealing new forms of old Pokémon while hiding most of the truly new ones, they'd better give Shaymin a Sea Forme. Seriously, that cute Pokémon has a Sky and a Land Forme.

I kinda guessed the possibility that it'll be Mewtwo's new form.

"Eclair" (as in French for "lightning") Form, apparently.

Is the new form Psychic/Electric? Or is it pure Psychic? Or pure Electric? May Game Freak answer soon. Hopefully before June.

Wonder if they'll introduce a new type and create a new form for Arceus, though? Not likely, except for counter-hacking measures (as with the ??? type). Because then the Arceus movie would be a lie (in that 16 Plates and not 17)

Holy... Looks like the Fairy type is official now.

Vivillon is Bug & Flying. It learns Struggle Bug.
Noivern is a Flying- and Dragon-type Pokémon. It's signature move, Boomburst, is a Normal type move.

E3 Nintendo Direct reveals masses of information. So much info.

It says that Gardevoir is Psychic/Fairy, Marill is Water/Fairy, and Jigglypuff is Normal/Fairy. I wonder if this makes Mawile a Steel/Fairy Pokémon? Who knows~
