| NOTE: Unless mentioned otherwise, all characters begin their year at Frogwings in the year 2008. - Ruby Newman:
A girl who wears two pairs of grey knee-highs... both on her feet and her hands. Her parents were brutal killers who took the eyes of their victims and covered her arms with them, hence why she covers her arms with socks. She tends to put pens between her first and second pairs of socks, and tends to walk around without wearing shoes or boots. Most of the time, her face is covered with a gas mask, and she wears her hair in a ponytail.
- Mei Bletell:
A girl who wears thigh-high socks held up by a garter belt. Sometimes she wears gloves and/or socks on her hands, and a full face gas mask. Spending time in gas chambers is one of her hobbies. She is shy, however, her skill at magic is better because of it. Her sister Tori is in the Swordslash house, in her 3rd year.
- Tori Bletell:
A girl who wears pantyhose with matching gloves. She isn't shy, but her magical skill isn't very good. She hates gas masks, but she won't hesitate to put one on when necessary. However, gas masks made of diamonds are a whole other story.
- Hayley van Zyl:
A peculiar girl from Frogwings, in that she wears two pairs of socks on her hands most of the time, despite making it harder for her to write. Her sisters, Hilary, Nancy and Melinda, are also weird in their own unique ways. She is in her first year at Frogwings.
- Hilary van Zyl:
A peculiar girl from Frogwings, in that she wears tights with thigh-high socks, knee-high socks and two other pairs of socks at the same time, as well as covering her hands with two pairs of socks - and she never wears shoes, either. Like her sisters Hilary, Nancy and Melinda, she has her unique way of being weird. She is in her first year at Frogwings.
- Nancy van Zyl:
A peculiar girl from Frogwings, in that she wears four pairs of gloves, regardless of how hard that makes it to write. She is also always stockinged, and wears a gas mask. Just like Hilary, Hayley and Melinda, her sisters, she has her way of being uniquely weird. She is in her third year at Frogwings.
- Melinda van Zyl:
A peculiar girl from Frogwings, in that she always wears a HAZMAT suit. She also wears black stockings held up by a garter belt, black elbow-length (if not longer) gloves, and a gas mask underneath the biohazard suit. She is in her second year at Frogwings.
- Stephanie de Wet:
A shy girl in her fourth year at Frogwings, she wears fishnet stockings with black 3/4 length socks, and black mittens. Sometimes she wears a respirator.
