Alternate Battle

Eric: "I'm confused:
"Was that a star snake?
"Something doesn't feel right."

He opened PK's notebook.

Eric: "Huh, it said that I'm mustn't rely on it too much to get information, but it'll give it to me anyway.
"It says that the reason why it was so easy to imprisom is because it's only a servant of the real god and not the actual god itself.
"In other words, the snake's a decoy.
"The real god is much more powerful, as well as a lot more difficult to imprison.
"Therefore, it won't be as easy to imprison the god.
"Besides, if it's really that God, then taking it to Karjam's Domain would cause an paradox as it would make it 'that the god being recaptured because we accidently released it from prison' actuakky came before the time when we actually had released it from prison."

He spotted what looks like a evil-looking Karjamian wearing green clothing in a distance.

Eric: "Huh? What's he doing here?"

Connors: "What?"

The evil-looking Karjamian disappeared.

Eric: "Er, nothing."

Wizard fires a bolt at him
that should keep NLK from interfering with this plot
Eric: What was that?
Octavius: A bolt of stay-the-hell-out-of-this-plotline
CC: Well that was my last magic gem, we need another.

Another wizard showed up.

Second wizard: "Why did you throw a bolt at me!?!"

Eric: "You wanted to keep another wizard out of the plot line?"

NOTE: Nega-Lime went away from the group before Octavius could bolt him, so one can't see what he was doing. Even if Nega-Lime couldn't redirect that bolt to another wizard, he could find another way to get rid of it (like dodging it, if possible).

CC: anyone know where we can find magic gems to imprison gods?
Whats a second wizard doing in space anyways?

Second wizard: "All I know is, I was suddenly teleported into that spot against my will before the lightning had hit me"

Eric: "Perhaps we could go to the world of Minecraft and mine a emerald to be used as our gem?"

CC: Allright.
They wait for the warp device to cool down, then warp.
We need a ruby, since the future jewel we took and broke is a ruby. Using an emerald would mean someone in the future releases him and someone else traps him in a ruby

Eric: "The world's still developing, so we'd better go to a Minecraft Mod world."
PK's notebook opened up.
Notebook: "The world of Minecraft's infinite, right?
"And new features are added often to the game representing the world, right?
"Chances are, this world has rubies in it."

CC: Okay, I'll leave the mining to you as I've never played minecraft and don't know the best place to look or anything

Eric: "Well, first of all, we need to get an Iron Pickaxe.
"We can get that by using a Stone Pickaxe to mine the Iron, and burn the Iron in a furnace made of stone.
"We can get a Stone Pickaxe by mining Stone with a Wooden Pickaxe.
"We construct the pickaxes using a crafting table."

CC: Or we could use explosive to blow up everything and then just walk through the wreckage until we find a ruby

Eric: "Do we even have explosions?"

Suddenly, a green vertical blocky creature with four legs and what appears to be a sad face saw them.

Eric: "Yipes!
"A Exploding Creeper!"

Connor: "A what?"

Eric: "When they see you, they try to get a close as possible before self destructing and causing an explosion!"

CC: Except I have an arm mounted laser
So I can blow up that poor SOB before he gets close.

He does
the creeper explodes

...Creating a crated and sending some blocks lose to pick up.
Eric: "You know that it's possible to kill the creeper before it explodes?
"Anyway, we first need an iron pickaxe in order to mine it."

CC: I don't really carry any pickaxes, but yes I have a ton of explosives

Eric: "Pickaxes are a lot more convenient to mine ores in Minecraft.
"Anyway, we need to find a cave containing this ore.
"And it won't be easy:
"It's said that Minecraft worlds can be over five times as big as Earth."

CC: Fine.

They go looking for ore

Eric: "They'll most likely to be in caves."
As he said this, the saw a cave.
Eric: "Er, does anyone have torches?"

CC: I thought you did. Back when we were on the ship

Eric: "Oh, right!
"Forgot about my hammerspace."

He nervously chuckled.

Eric: "Anyway, here's a torch."

He took out what looked like a blocky torch that you light with fire.

Eric: "Whoops! Wrong one.
"How did that get in there, anyway?
"Must've been from one of my last trips to a Minecraft world.
"Anyway, take this."

He gives a flashlight to Caption Connors.

Eric: "Can you two wizards turn your wands or staffs -whatever you have on you- into torches?
"I'll give some flashlights to you two if you can't or don't feel like using magic."

I'd like to join, but I'm not certain what to do now, since it's already in progress. So what now? Do I wait, or...?

Me, I limited myself to the other Battles. I do not post in this battle using a character.
Until you obtain the Three Permissions of Three (one from Mvskoke, one from KarjamP and one from kushagra; that's why it's the "Three Permissions of Three"), you will be allowed to join in the carnage and combat that is... THE BATTLE.

[offtopic]There's two The Battles, both in different continualities:
The one simply titled "The Battle" is the official one, chronicling at least Shane, Kim, Kush, The Purple Karjam, me, Nbaheen, Colt and Julio. Kiera and Mia would adventure there.

This one's the "Alternate The Battle". At the title suggests, it's in an alternate continuality than the one above and chronicles at least Eric Karjam, Captian Connors and the half Pokemon. Sparkle would adventure here.

To my knowledge, anyone can join either The Battle's at any time.[/offtopic]

Wizards make their staffs glow.
CC: I was under the impression the second one died in the void of space.
2nd Wizard: I saved myself, with magic duh.
Whenever you guys go back I'm leaving though, I don't really plan on following you around

Eric: "Okay, let's go."

They carried on until they found an underground lava field.

Eric: "Luckily, like in most other worlds of fiction, you can only get burned from lava if you touch it, not by being around it."

Cc: do you want to turn around or continue onwards

Eric: "Look over there!"

They saw a spring of water nearby.

Eric: "Let's get some water and spray it on the lava."

CC: umm how?
Also the boltthat hit the other wizard was a bolt of stay-the-hell-out-of-this-plotline. So he shouldnt be here now.

Other wizard: oh

He disappears.

Eric: "Just like many others when has to be pointed out that they shouldn't be here and they really shouldn't."

Since Eric doesn't like bothering with the fourth wall like PK does, I'll point to the trope itself.

Eric: "That's strange. I thought I've heard a ...
"Never mind. Does anyone have a bucket?
"We get some water and THEN spray it onto the lava.
"Wait, why do I keep forgetting that I have a hammerspace full of utensils?"

He grabs a blocky bucket.

Eric: "From my last visit in a Minecraft world."

Eric scoops some water and tosses it onto the lava. Then another bucket until the lava created a rock bridge for them to cross.
They cross and find some iron ore.
CC blows up the wall with explosives.

Eric: "I can see we're now in an abandoned mineshaft."

Some blocky cave spiders spotted them.

CC lunges forward and slashes the spiders to bits

Octavius casts a fiery fireball at the other spiders

Some more Cave Spiders appeared.

Eric: "There must be a Spider Spawner somewhere."

Connors: "A what?"

Eric: "These create mobs, ie, beings like zombies, creepers, spiders, pigs, etc., right by themselves.
"Destroy the spawner, and the spider supply will be endless no more."

Octavius creates a wave of fire that passes through the shaft. Incinerating everything

A giant wall made entirely of flesh comes out of the ground, carrying a cage in its eye. A young girl is trapped in the cage!

Girl: "Help me! Somebody! Help!"

Octavius fires a large bolt of lightning at the WoF.
The WoF is unharmed.
Octavius collapses. CC slams an oxygen mask on him and and zaps him with a small device.
Octavius dissapears.
Eric: What was that?
CC: Dont worry, just run!
Eric: where
CC: back to the ship. I have some chemicals we can spray on it
Eric:Acid?
CC: Kinda. Its extra strength undiluted cleaning chemicals. Its highly acidic. Ive seen it melt a mans arm off

The girl starts coughing lava from her mouth. It melts the cage open and the Wall of Flesh looks scared.

Girl: "Time to feel the heat."

The Wall of Flesh is burnt to a crisp by the girl, her red locks shining in the light of the fire.

Girl: "See ya!"

Eric: "Wait a minute!
"How come the worlds of Tererria and that of Minceraft - er, Minecraft, merged into each other?!?
"Uh, I guess I've forgotten that it's possible to create mods for Minecraft.
"So maybe this is a modded world?
"Wait, of course it is! How can I be so stupid!
"Rubies don't appear in vanilla Minecraft, but they do in a modded Minecraft world!"

Actually no, it just means that we free it again or something

By capturing it, we know it gets freed again, but by us, and that we will recapture it.



CC: Wait! Why did you say help, if you were capable of freeing yourself?

Girl: "How should I have known I would cough lava? That cage negated my ability, but apparently I can cough lava."
The girl takes a deep breath.
Girl: "We should probably find out whether my blood is actually lava or something, then... The name's Sparkle. Sparkle Uchiha. No, I'm not related to the Uchiha clan from an anime called Naruto, that's just a common Inhuman surname."

CC: Um I don't know what a Naruto is so I don't know what clan that is anyways. I'm from the future.

Sparkle: "You... don't know what a Naruto is?"

The girl smiles.

Sparkle: "From what year in the future? I'm also from the future, from the year 2035. Earth has no flying cars whatsoever, though, not then. At least they got hoverboards."

CC: Year 4726, how did you get to this current time period?

Sparkle frowns.
Sparkle: "... While I have no idea, the last thing I remember before finding myself in this time period was somebody knocking me out with sleeping gas. In other words, I don't know how I got in this time period. It was easy knowing which time period is was - in Gansbaai, there's no statue in this time period. There's a statue of a world-famous hero built in 2034, but there's no statue of him in this time period."
Sparkle sighs.
Sparkle: "But I don't really mind being in the past. Maybe... Maybe I'll be able to meet this hero in person. When I do, I'm gonna get his autograph, and then find a way home. Somehow."

CC: Well I haven't seen the statue, but this universe is one where Shane's characters don't exist. So it's not him, if that's what you mean.
Anyways what are you doing now that your here?

Sparkle: "I woke up in that cage, so I didn't really have much to do except suffer. Nothing to eat or drink since I woke up... which was three weeks ago. But we'd need to find out if my blood is lava, because if it is, it'd be useless to eat or drink anything. Inhumans - like me - can go without food for one Earth year. Also, that hero?"

Sparkle's armband glows, and a holograph appears. It is a statue of Shane Neumann, and next to it, is a girl that nobody knows. A plaque on Shane's statue reads:


The plaque on the statue of the girl reads:

Sparkle: "Violet was basically, 17 years old. Michelle was 16, and Ellen was 15, when they committed those murders. See, in the time period I'm from, those Battle RPGs mentioned on Shane's plaque? It's actually a world-wide sport!"

Sparkle sighs.

Sparkle: "Until I have something to do, however, I'll just join you guys. How does that sound?"

Oh and I forgot all about the wizard who's body/corpse may or may not be stuck in a void.

Eric: what?
The thing I zapped him with. It's a modified version of your little hammerspace. Basically this beam stores bodies into a limitless void, only it has zero oxygen there, hence void. So people zap each other with these and they suffocate in a vaccumn full of corpses. That's why I put a mask on him. And it's designed to kill people and easily dispose of bodies. So I don't know how to get anything back. Anyways you might wanna have a look. If you can get him out, be careful theres like a bunch of corpses and some old clothes I didn't feel like throwing away. They won't be rotten or anything, since theres no stuff to decompose them, but it's still gross.

And Kim, your brother probably isn't born yet, unless he traveled back in time with you. In which case he still hasn't been born yet but he is currently alive now

Sparkle: "Oh, I dunno, I probably said it with a lot of affection or something? Who cares~"

Sparkle smiles.

Sparkle: "What can I do? D'you have a ship or something? Can I clean it?"

It WILL cause a paradox, as unless the mind of said god's above time, it'll violate the laws of spacetime due to the fact that the god would be stuck in a serious form of time looping that's very confusing. Yes, the earlier form of the god can be imprisoned, but then it needs to gain enough power to be as powerful when it's released.

Eric: "It seems that you're from a variant of a DRACONIA multiverse, Sparkle."
