Forum History 2013+

Bla bla bla 44 has joined the forums.

And the banner has been slightly updated for now.

Also, the theme is now red. This is changed every two months, I guess.

9 January:
No new members until today - nbaheen has joined!
The theme is purple, several fixes, and the chatbox has seen a lot of activity!

12 Jan 2013:
A new member, and a few new rules.

Also added a chatbox link to the top bar.

Also, nobody seems to view this page, because for some reason friend requests do not receive notifications nor is it possible for these forums.

My last day, I guess, for a few days - I'll be leaving tomorrow to go to Cape Town for my grandfather's funeral. He died on 18 January 2013, for those who don't know.

Added a new rule, and added the smiley for use with that rule.

Added a new subforum a few days ago for Shane's Cave Story.

Made a Pokémon Stadium forum game.

Kim joined the forums, and now? She's gonna be ready for action!

Changed the forums' name to "Shane's The Battle Fora". This won't affect anything, however, due to how the site's name is ("sbanenthebattle.createaforum.net" will remain so).

Thanked posts are now marked with gold.

Changed the forum version to PunBB, and the forum style as well to a greenish version - links are, by default, red.

Thanked posts are gold, and moderators of the Cave Story and LF2 related fora are blue.

Avatars' maximum size is now 300 pixels by 300 pixels instead of 200 pixels by 200 pixels.

Kim's avatar has changed.

Added Kim as admin, Dr. Time as Global Moderator, set GMods' colour to blue, removed all other Moderator groups.

Added a subforum for television shows, anime, cartoons, book, music, and so on.

Kim added a subforum of the Battle for the pasts of other characters. Or their futures. Or something like that.

Okay, more posts, nothing else. I should probably do something to help out while Shane's been grounded, though.

After all, he maid me admin, even though I didn't want to be, so maybe it was just in case of something like this happening?

Changed the forum settings to allow members to post in the History section...

Added a bar for Taylor to add points to for members whose posts she approves of. Also reset the other bar in the user profile.

Only admins can modify those.

Oh, but you don't mention the fora you added, hmmm?

Anyway, I updated all the rank icons of staff members. I'm the Forum Prince, Taylor is the Forum Princess.

GalanDun is the Moderator of Inactivity.
KarjamP is the Moderator of Kindness.
nbaheen is the Moderator of the Stars.

New elements added, and changed the Battlers color to dark gold.

Banned a spambot.

Also: new members must have at least 1 week's registration before they can post links. This is to help prevent spam, in the event of a spambot appearing and posting so much spam that moderators can't clean it up.

I don't know why moderators may not ban members, though. Until Shane decides to allow that, moderators - and other staff members - will have to use the Report button to report the post to the admins.

I also don't know if moderators can lock posts with this button:
If they can, moderators should use that button to lock posts to prevent spambots from removing the content of the post to make it seem like a normal member.

Okay, added two new forums and made Events forum free from the Announcements one.

Added more smileys and allowed Mods to moderator the Battle: Others forum.

Also, added a new button at the bar at the top.

Forum RPG of mine has a Bestiary up to J, so far.

After some server problems, I can finally return here to say that I've added a language subforum.

Added new group and forums. Returned.

Changed the forum style again. It is now Invision.

Tried to fix a 403 error that a member is receiving, I don't know if it has worked yet.

Also modified Dicebot's profile and made its "birthday" the same as the join date (since, technically, Dicebot exists for rolling the dices and such).

Forum theme made red.

Dr. Time has been promoted to Administrator.

Taylor has been demoted and banned.

Several more things.
